Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Shiesty, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Shiesty is a private inventory + value tracking tool for firearms, optics, and related gear. It is not a marketplace. We do not facilitate buying or selling, and we do not broker transactions between users.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Shiesty.
• You're responsible for keeping your password safe. Share it with no one.
• You're responsible for all activity on your account until you revoke its sessions (Settings → Sign out).
• Accounts are for a single person. Don't share logins.

You agree not to use Shiesty to:

• Upload content that's illegal, threatening, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or violates someone else's rights.
• Promote, glorify, or incite violence, discrimination, or unlawful activity.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
• Use the service for any regulated sale, transfer, or distribution of firearms or ammunition — Shiesty doesn't facilitate that.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content as defined above. Posting it can result in removal of the post and/or termination of your account without prior notice.

You keep all rights to the item data and photos you upload. By uploading, you grant Shiesty a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content solely to operate the app on your behalf.

You're responsible for your content — including making sure you have the right to upload any photos.

Every user-generated post, comment, and profile in Shiesty can be reported by tapping the ⋯ menu and choosing Report. Reports go to a human moderation queue. Our stated turnaround is under 24 hours from the time a report is filed.

You can also block another user from the same menu — blocking immediately removes their posts and comments from your view, prevents them from following you, and stops them from messaging you on the service.

When we determine content violates these Terms we will, at our sole discretion:

• Remove the offending post or comment.
• Suspend or permanently ban the account responsible.
• For repeat offenders or severe violations, ban without prior warning.

A banned account cannot sign in. The reason for the ban will be shown the next time the user attempts to log in. If you believe a ban was issued in error, contact support at the address below.

Shiesty is an independent collection-management and informational reference service.

The catalog is curated for product identification and informational purposes only. Third-party product names, trademarks, logos, images, descriptions, and specifications remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with Shiesty unless expressly stated.

Values use your saved estimates and curated catalog reference/MSRP data. Shiesty does not currently provide live market pricing, retailer price feeds, appraisals, or price alerts. Values may be incomplete or change. Values should not be treated as insurance valuations, tax bases, or financial advice.

Shiesty Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription. Both plans unlock the same Pro features. The App shows the selected plan's localized total price, billing duration, and any confirmed introductory-trial terms before purchase. Trial offers appear only when Apple reports that the Apple Account is eligible; after a trial, the displayed subscription price is charged unless canceled before renewal.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You can review the renewal status and manage or cancel from Shiesty Settings using Apple's subscription management sheet. Cancellation stops future renewal and access ordinarily continues through the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Deleting your Shiesty account does not cancel an Apple subscription. If an active Apple subscription exists, the App explains this and links to Apple's management sheet before deletion. Family Sharing is not currently enabled for Shiesty Pro. Prices and available offers may change; Apple presents the price that applies before you confirm a purchase or renewal change.

Pro currently includes collection insights; multiple portfolios; unlimited builds and active custom items; professional CSV and insurance-binder PDF exports; watermark-free sharing; barcode catalog lookup where coverage exists; and expanded, priority catalog requests. Catalog-request timing and addition are not guaranteed. More Pro tools may be added later, but future features are not promised as current subscription benefits.

We're improving Shiesty constantly. Features may change, be added, or removed. We'll give reasonable notice before any change that materially reduces the service.

You can delete your account any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable.

Shiesty is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that values shown are accurate.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Shiesty and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the prior 12 months or $100.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Shiesty is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
