Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Shiesty, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Shiesty is a private inventory + value tracking tool for firearms, optics, and related gear. It is not a marketplace. We do not facilitate buying or selling, and we do not broker transactions between users.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Shiesty.
• You're responsible for keeping your password safe. Share it with no one.
• You're responsible for all activity on your account until you revoke its sessions (Settings → Sign out).
• Accounts are for a single person. Don't share logins.

You agree not to use Shiesty to:

• Upload content that's illegal, threatening, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or violates someone else's rights.
• Promote, glorify, or incite violence, discrimination, or unlawful activity.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
• Use the service for any regulated sale, transfer, or distribution of firearms or ammunition — Shiesty doesn't facilitate that.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content as defined above. Posting it can result in removal of the post and/or termination of your account without prior notice.

You keep all rights to the item data and photos you upload. By uploading, you grant Shiesty a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content solely to operate the app on your behalf.

You're responsible for your content — including making sure you have the right to upload any photos.

Every user-generated post, comment, and profile in Shiesty can be reported by tapping the ⋯ menu and choosing Report. Reports go to a human moderation queue. Our stated turnaround is under 24 hours from the time a report is filed.

You can also block another user from the same menu — blocking immediately removes their posts and comments from your view, prevents them from following you, and stops them from messaging you on the service.

When we determine content violates these Terms we will, at our sole discretion:

• Remove the offending post or comment.
• Suspend or permanently ban the account responsible.
• For repeat offenders or severe violations, ban without prior warning.

A banned account cannot sign in. The reason for the ban will be shown the next time the user attempts to log in. If you believe a ban was issued in error, contact support at the address below.

The catalog of items, prices, and specifications inside Shiesty is curated by us for informational purposes. Values shown in the app are estimates based on our data and should not be treated as guaranteed market prices, insurance valuations, or financial advice.

We're improving Shiesty constantly. Features may change, be added, or removed. We'll give reasonable notice before any change that materially reduces the service.

You can delete your account any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable.

Shiesty is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that values shown are accurate.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Shiesty and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the prior 12 months or $100.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Shiesty is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
